We’re thrilled to finally share the news about our R3 Award for October! The October R3 Excellence Award goes to Shea Littlemeyer. Shea has been with us since September 2021. Her pride in the job is evident in the quality of her work and the praise she receives from team members. She gets along well with her team and performs her tasks with excellence, exemplifying the 3 Rs in her friendly and professional attitude and her thorough work.
Praise for Shea:
“She has grasped the payroll process incredibly fast and provides great internal customer support for all our team members (she also can accomplish payroll with very little outward stress). She has also accepted additional responsibilities within the accounting team as well as bringing responsibilities related to price increases from her sales position, accomplishing them with efficiency, positive teamwork and great quality. Lastly, she has been an asset in utilizing her “Wonder” genius in several important company projects.” – Jim Hill, Director of Operations
“Shea is the epitome of a team player, willing to do anything she can to help the company succeed! She has worked in three different departments in her time with Strategic, which gives her unique insights and perspective that she is always happy to share.” – Kenneth Reyes, President
“Shea is such a pleasure to work with! She is always willing to help where needed and eager to learn and grow to benefit her team and the company. I appreciate her team-oriented mindset and her genuine desire to support the company’s well-being, growth and success. I am so thankful to have her on the accounting team!” – Julie Chang, Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor
A Word from Shea:
“I enjoy working for a company that truly cares about its people, which creates a comfortable and safe work environment. I feel like I can go to my boss (Jim) with just about anything, and he will work with me to find a solution! In my free time, I like to road trip, hike, rollerblade and be in water… especially the ocean! I also enjoy just staying home sometimes and cuddling up with my kids and cats. Something people don’t know about me is that I have been inventing products for almost 10 years and pitching them to companies for the last 3—no contracts yet, but I have made good connections and learned so much since I started. The rejection can be extremely tough, though! Although I have many fond memories here, the first thing that came to mind was seeing one of our guys build a bridge for a raccoon so it could get out of the dumpster it had gotten stuck in! I think it says a lot about who we are and the kindness and compassion of the people who we work with.”
