Here at Strategic, we believe in supporting the community. That’s why every month we donate to a non-profit working hard to make the world a better place. Here are some of the organizations we’ve donated to this year so far.
Colette’s Children’s Home
Colette’s Children’s Home is a nonprofit organization that provides housing and supporting services for unhoused women and children. For over 20 years, Colette’s Children’s Home has worked hard to provide a safe place for women and children in need while they become independent.
Save the Children
Save the Children is an organization that has been operating since shortly after World War I to meet the needs of suffering children. Today, they aid impoverished kids in America, suffering from the war in Ukraine and those facing famine in the Middle East and Africa.
Powerstone Children’s Cancer Walk
In March, Powerstone Property Management Inc. held a 5k/10k and half marathon that raised $136,000 for the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF). Several of our team members participated in the walk to raise awareness for and donate money to the foundation as they continue to conduct research in hopes to end pediatric cancers.
Why We Give
While we at Strategic provide professional services to manage waste and maintain community cleanliness, we also understand that the opportunity to provide and utilize such services are a privilege not everyone has access to. We give because we are committed our stated purpose to Honor God, Care for People and Guard the Environment. We partner in donating with these and other charities to bless others and leave the world a little better than we found it.
