The March 2023 R3 Excellence Award goes to Jose Verdin. Jose has been with the team since November 2022. Jose is such a valuable asset to Strategic. He is positive, both on the job and with his fellow team members, skilled and dependable. His heart for people is evident in his work. Jose is a wonderful example of the 3 Rs on and off the field!

A Word from Jose
“I enjoy working for Strategic because I get to be of service to people. I take pride in my work, and I enjoy the opportunity to make people happy. In my free time, I like to take my dogs for a walk or go fishing, unless I am doing homework with my 11-year-old son. On my days off, I spend time with my family. Something you might not know about me is that I have a very big heart and will go out of my way to help someone in any way I can. Above all, I am a father of 3 boys. I work hard to set high standards and an example of ethics for them. I am a proud UC Berkeley dad. One of my favorite memories I have at Strategic is from a time when it was raining. I was training with another ServiceTech, who asked me to pick up some trash behind the bin. When I bent down, he lifted the trash lid without knowing it was filled with water. I felt a cold waterfall land on my head. We just looked at each other and laughed, and we joked about it all day. I’d like to give a special thanks to Alfonso, Kenny, Vanessa and everyone else. If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t be where I am.”
